Native Narrowleaf Coneflower – Echinacea angustifolia
$8.00
Copper-orange central cones surrounded by short, arching, ray petals in pink or purple-pink, and occasionally white. Rays droop down and curve under with maturity. Tolerates drought, heat, and poor soils. Narrowleaf coneflower is a low water use plant requiring a well-drained site; 18-24″ high. Forms clumps that can be divided every 3 to 4 years in spring. Deadheading promotes more blooms. Great pollinator attractor for a multitude of species; special value to native bees.
