The Colorado Native Plant Society furthers the knowledge, appreciation and conservation of native plants and habitats of Colorado through education, stewardship and advocacy.

We have member-organized chapters around the state that engage in botanical activities.

Our committees operate statewide to monitor rare plants, collect native seed for public lands restoration, advance native plant horticulture, affect change through legislative conservation efforts, and develop and disseminate native plant education and publications.

We also have four funding opportunities for students, community members, and researchers advancing native plant conservation through their work, studies, and volunteerism.

We are open to everyone — professionals and amateurs, experienced botanists and beginners — all who are interested in the flora of Colorado.  Come join us as we work, study, and enjoy the flora of Colorado.

Everyone is welcome at any event anywhere in the state, regardless of chapter affiliation. Choosing your chapter increases your local community engagement. Join our committees by registering for a committee meeting in our calendar.
