Silver, White Sage – Artemisia ludoviciana

$8.00

Distinctive silver-white foliage held on bushy, erect stems is fragrant when brushed against. This plant makes an excellent accent point, or can be used a ground cover as it colonizes through rhizomatous roots. Generally about 18 inches tall, but may be taller in favorable conditions. Flowers are small, yellow, and insignificant. Although wind pollinated, White sage attracts a wide variety of nectar-seeking insects. Grow in moderately fertile, dry to medium moisture, very well-drained soil in full sun. Deer, rabbit, and drought tolerant!
