During this time, she has traveled extensively across the state of Colorado documenting its rich floristic diversity. She is currently the curator at Colorado State University Herbarium and teaches Plant Identification at CSU. She has served on the board for the Colorado Native Plant Society, and written several articles on the flora of Colorado. She enjoys hiking, photographing wildflowers, botanical illustration, and educating students on the wonderful world of botany.
