Field Trips

CoNPS runs scores of field trips during the spring, summer and fall months all over the state.  These trips normally have about 15 or so participants, from novice native plant lovers to highly trained botanists.  Trip leaders range from college professors like Dr. Neal Osborn (in the Spanish Peaks Photo) to CoNPS volunteers who have become experts in a favorite local ecosystem, like Doris Driscoll in the Pikes Peak photo.  The trips range from easy walks in Denver natural areas to strenuous hikes high into the mountains.  But no matter where they go, they are educational and great fun.  A wonderful place to meet people with similar interests.

We have put together a short set of field trip policies which you should read before setting off with your group.  In addition all participants are asked to sign a release of liability form.  With these formalities out of the way, check out our list of the latest field trips we are offering.  And have a great time!
