The web site has a number of features that make it more accessible to those with physical problems: all photographs are captioned with "Accessible Tags" so that people with vision problems can have the words read to them by their special computers. Where possible, fonts have been chosen so that computers can convert them to larger sizes for those with vision problems.

Informational pop-up dialog boxes are attached to most photographs.  For the name of a plant, touch the photograph with your mouse cursor.  For more descriptive information, click the photograph.  If the page will not open, press Ctrl + enter; this may stop your pop-up blocker from causing the problem.

Al Schneider, Webmaster for the Colorado Native Plant Society web site, has resigned and this site needs a new Webmaster in order to continue the following:

This Colorado Native Plant Society web site is updated many times each week.

Updates are  almost daily on the "Botanical News" page.

Chapter and committee pages are updated frequently as new programs, field trips, and activities are added.

The Society newsletter, Aquilegia, is added as a PDF to the "Newsletter" page four times each year.

"Field Trip" and "Field Studies" pages are most commonly updated in the spring.

The "Workshop" page lists new workshops in the early fall and is updated through the fall and winter with special information.

The "Annual Meeting" page is updated continually from about March through August.

The "Calendar", which includes all programs, field trips, workshops, Annual Meeting dates, etc. is updated about six times each year.

The special "Book Order Form" on the "Bookstore" page is updated about four times each year.

The "Board Page" is updated as needed with new Board member names, By-Law updates, etc.

Additions are often made to the "Links", "Bookstore", and "Plant Lists" pages.

Research Grant information is posted year-round and is updated in the fall.

"Botanical Slide Shows" are added as new photographs are submitted to the Webmaster.
